I’m not going to lie, sometimes I’m really lazy but I definitely still want dessert. Also I wanted dessert that’s going to be healthy, but not necessarily taste healthy. Cue this chocolate chip loaf.
This loaf is the perfect healthy dessert recipe, just like my chocolate brownies from this week. This loaf takes only a few minutes to throw together and bakes for 60 minutes. This healthy recipe is packed with applesauce and mashed bananas. It is a gluten-free recipe. This dessert recipe also has no oil.
Chocolate chip bread recipe
Gluten free, no oil
Ingredients:
1/2 cup sour cream (I used lactose free!)
1/2 cup applesauce
1 cup sugar
3 large eggs
1/4 cup any kind of milk
1 1/2 cups flour or gluten free flour
1/2 cup protein powder
1 teaspoon baking powder
1/4 teaspoon salt
1 1/2 cups dairy free dark chocolate chips
Directions:
Preheat oven to 350.
Add all the ingredients to a mixing bowl. Mix together until fully combined.
Add batter to a loaf pan and bake for 50-60 minutes
